Note the impressive single cell results from ICHIRO at KEK, which is one of the efforts toward higher gradient structures as an alternative to the TESLA baseline cavities.

Dear all,

Here is a just information about ICHIRO single cell cavity. IS-6 has reached 48.8MV/m in the first test. Now we have 3 of 5 single cell cavities, which have reached 45MV/m in the first test.

The recipe is: CBP (centrifugal barrel polishing)+light CP (10microns)+Annealing (750 degree for 3hr)+EP (80microns)+HPR with ultrapure water+120 degree Bake for 48hr, which is recommended as ACD with ILC preparation.
